ExxonMobil this week signed an agreement with Hapag-Lloyd to supply B30 marine bio fuel oil in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) region.

Höegh Autoliners and North Ammonia today announced a partnership for the supply, distribution, delivery, and consumption of green ammonia.

According to Ansuman Ghosh, Director of Risk Assessment, UK P&I Club, VPS has tested several distillate fuels bunkered in the Port of Rotterdam during August and September 2022, where their Cloud Point reached temperatures as high as 21 degrees Celsius and their Pour Point temperatures were as high as 12 degrees Celsius. 

As Ansuman Ghosh, Director of Risk Assessment, UK P&I Club, informs, bunker fuel analysis indicates more cases of contaminated bunker fuel in the Rotterdam and Amsterdam areas (ARA), suggesting that the problem persists.

Recently MARITEC has investigated 5 VLSFO samples that were bunkered in the US-Gulf region between June to July 2022, as well as several VLSFOs delivered in the ARA Region, finding contamination issues.
