According to a new report from Oceans North, Arup, the Vancouver Maritime Centre for Climate (VMCC), and C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group (C40), the transition to new marine fuels ‘presents an economic opportunity for Canada’ as an emerging producer and exporter of green hydrogen and ammonia, but infrastructure must still be built.

Bureau Veritas has added its vote of confidence to Swiss marine power company WinGD’s ammonia fuelled X-DF-A dual-fuel engine, granting an approval in principle (AiP) for the engine’s safety concept.
