The Bahamas Maritime Authority issued a Safety Alert to share lessons to be learned from an allision with a pier structure that occurred with a pilot onboard. Preliminary investigation findings reveal the allision occurred due to a substantial deviation from the planned passage at a critical time.  

TSB Canada released its investigation report into the container vessel Ever Summit striking the berth at Vanterm, in the Port of Vancouver. The report highlighted a concern relating to larger container vessels berthing at the Port of Vancouver and the capacity of existing terminal infrastructure to accommodate them safely.

Transport Malta MSIU issued an investigation report on the allision of the bulk carrier MV KLIMA with the Marshall Island-flagged bulk carrier SPRING SNOW and the Singapore-registered bunker barge LIBRA in the Eastern Special Purpose Anchorage, Singapore, in July 2019.

Three crew members were injured after a crew transfer vessel (CTV) allided with a wind turbine at the Borkum Riffgrund 1 offshore wind farm in German waters, on 23 April. 

The NTSB issued an investigation report on the contact of the towing vessel 'Chad Pregracke' with Old Highway 80 Bridge on the Lower Mississippi River, in February 2019. The report indicated the pilot's misjudgment of the river current as key cause of the incident. 

The US Coast Guard has closed the Mississippi River between mile markers 115 and 122 after a vessel allided with the Hale Boggs Memorial Bridge, Sunday.

The US NTSB issued an investigation report on the contact of the towing vessel 'Bettye M. Jenkins' with Bunge Grain Facility on the Lower Mississippi River, in February 2019. The investigation identified the captain’s decision to pass ahead of an upbound tow while crossing a river in strong current as key cause of the accident. 

In its latest Safety Digest, UK MAIB describes a case of a ship allision with the quay while berthing which injured ten people and caused significant damage. The investigation identified a lack of shared understanding between the bridge team and the pilot, as well as inefficient tugboat support. 

The Filipino fishing boat 'F/B Gem-Vir I' was hit by a Chinese vessel because the Filipino fishermen failed to maintain a proper lookout, said the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) following investigation of the incident that occurred on 9 June, off the West Philippine Sea. 

The Japanese warship 'JS Kunisaki' collided into Brisbane's Portside Wharf while trying to dock, Tuesday, 17 June. There were no injuries of crew onboard or spectators but the vessel was left visibly damaged. The causes of the incident are yet to be determined.
