Shell Marine announced that has renewed its technical partnership for a further four years with the University of Cebu – Maritime Education and Training Center (UC METC). At the signing of the new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) were Shell Marine Executive Director Jan Toschka, University of Cebu President Atty. Augusto W. Go.
Shell Marine will provide expertise in lubrication technology to the students and lecturers of the UC METC. In addition, a technical team from the company will provide training and knowledge modules through workshops and seminars at the UC METC.
“We are exceptionally pleased to renew our technical partnership with Shell Marine. We are appreciative of Shell’s efforts on imparting the latest technical knowledge from years of research to our maritime students and lecturers,” said Atty. Go.
The company will also provide its Rapid Lubrication Analysis (RLA) Onboard Plus Test Kit (Cold Corrosion Test Kit) to UC METC. UC METC will use Shell Marine materials and products when lecturing on marine products and during the Shell Marine Technical Seminar, and input knowledge and information related to Pilipinas Shell and Shell Marine during the workshops or seminars.
