Sentinel Midstream published its scheduled development of Texas GulfLink, a proposed Deepwater Crude Oil Export Terminal, located near Freeport, Texas. The facility will be able to fully load Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) vessels.
Mainly, Texas GulfLink will consist of an onshore terminal up to 18 million barrels of storage, an offshore 42-in. pipeline, and a manned offshore platform for port operations with two Catenary Anchor Leg Mooring (CALM) Single Point Mooring (SPM) buoys.
The company expects its loading rates to reach the 85.000 b/h, with a nominal capacity of 1.2 million barrels per day over the course of a calendar year.
In the past, the company began the development of Texas GulfLink project along with various stakeholders including federal, state, and local agencies.
The project prepares its submission for a formal permit with the United States Maritime Administration (MARAD).
Finally, the project is being funded by Cresta Fund Management.
