Singapore’s first membrane LNG bunker vessel, Brassavola, has been delivered by Seatrium to owner Indah Singa Maritime, a subsidiary of Mitsui O.S.K Lines (MOL).
According to international news sources, the vessel, measuring 116.5 meters in length and 22 meters in width, incorporates advanced technology for efficient loading and bunkering, boasting a rate of up to 2,000 m3 per hour.
As Seatrium notes, Brassavola features dual-fuel engines for cleaner and lower-carbon operation, along with advanced reliquefication technology to manage boil-off gas more efficiently, reducing carbon emissions.
The vessel will be chartered by Pavilion Energy and deployed by TotalEnergies Marine Fuels to supply LNG bunker in the Port of Singapore, starting operations in February 2024.
