RINA released a statement according to which CSR Europe – a European business network for the Corporate Social Responsibility- has launched ‘CEOs Call to Action’, which addresses to those CEOs and companies throughout Europe that consider sustainability as a central and qualifying element in their way to do business.
Today, the shipping industry faces the serious challenges of changing to a more green and sustainable future. Maritime stakeholders have to follow the path to an inclusive, sustainable and future oriented growth.

The above, reflects the importance of companies and their leaders begin changing both internally and externally. Yet, the change could be easily achieved with the help of their stakeholders, other companies, society and politicians.
RINA is one of the first 50 Italian companies that support CSR Europe’s initiative, in cooperation with the European Commission, during the Brussels SDG Summit on 7 May 2019.
In addition, by participating in this project, RINA addresses its commitment on achieving a sustainable development and also having close and active relations with its stakeholders.
Concluding, the ‘CEOs Call to Action’ has been promoted in Italy by Fondazione Sodalitas, National Partner Organization di CSR Europe, which RINA joined in 2016.
