An Estonian reefer has been damaged in an apparent collision with an iceberg off Greenland.
A local report said the 74,363-cbf Vestlandia (built 1983) came into contact with the ice north of Upernavik overnight on Thursday.
The ship was at anchor at the time of the clash. It is being surveyed to assess the extent of hull damage.
No fuel has yet leaked. Its cargo may have to be transferred to other vessels chartered by Royal Arctic Bygdeservice.
The vessel is owned by Norfos Shipping of Estonia.
