Reaching out to a wider shipping community
In recognition of the advances in information technology, and the importance of timely dissemination of reports, sharing of updated information, and reaching out to a wider shipping community, the ReCAAP ISC has created a Mobile Application (App in short), making the prevailing use of mobile smartphones by many.
The App enables the ReCAAP ISC to share the latest Incident Alert and reports promulgated by the ReCAAP ISC with a wider readership from the shipping community and facilitate quick access to updated information of the ReCAAP Focal Points/Contact Point (phone number, fax number, email address). This provides the shipping community timely and better situation awareness, and enables them to make timely reporting of an incident to the nearest ReCAAP Focal Points/Contact Point and submission of an incident report via the App.
The Mobile App is available for download in the App Store (iPhone users) and Google Play Store (Android-based smartphone users). Just simply key in ReCAAP Focal Points in your search for mobile app and install the app instantly. The ReCAAP ISC would appreciate you to share and promote the App to the members of the shipping community you come in contact with.
