Daphne Technology will deploy its PureMetrics system on an LNG carrier chartered by Trafigura and managed by Latsco LNG LLC in summer 2024, to measure GHG emissions in real time.
As informed, PureMetrics measures real-time GHG emissions and ensures compliance with EU MRV and IMO DCS regulations. It also improves operational efficiency, reducing GHG emissions and costs. The implementation plan includes integrating PureMetrics with existing systems, addressing technical challenges, and complying with environmental regulations.
Daphne Technology’s CEO & Founder, Dr Mario Michan, stated that they were thrilled to sign their first commercial contract with Trafigura, marking a significant milestone for the company. He emphasized that while Trafigura is one of their strategic investors, this contract stands on its own merits as a testament to the effectiveness of their PureMetrics solution.
