Qatar Petroleum revealed its new Corporate Strategy and core values, under which the company wants to improve as an oil and gas companies in Qatar, with roots in the country and enhance its international presence, Qatar Petroleum said in a statement.
The recent announcements by Qatar Petroleum were led by the planned expansion of North Field production, which will enhance Qatar’s position by increasing its LNG production from 77 million to 100 million tons per year.
It also came at a time of an increasing international upstream activity, in which Qatar Petroleum expanded to include offshore areas spanning Latin America, Africa, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East.
Qatar Petroleum announced its plan during an event held at QP headquarters, in which senior management and executives from Qatar Petroleum and its affiliates discussed its various elements and their implementation.
