On 16th August 2024, Chimbusco Pan Nation Petro-chemical Co Ltd (CPN), supplied ISCC-EU certified B24 marine biofuel to a vessel operated by Orient Overseas Container Lines (OOCL).
As explained, this marks OOCL’s first biofuel bunkering operation in Hong Kong, representing a significant milestone in their decarbonization strategy.
This biofuel delivery reinforces CPN’s commitment to realizing eco-friendly port energy solutions and global decarbonization goals, demonstrating the determination of OOCL and CPN to reduce carbon emissions and actively contribute to green shipping.
To remind, on the 7th of March 2024, Chimbusco Pan Nation Petro-chemical Co., Ltd (CPN) also supplied 300 metric tonnes of ISCC-EU Certified B24 marine biofuel to the “YM INCEPTION,” a containership owned by Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation.
