MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, has named MSC Türkiye, one of the world’s largest and most fuel-efficient containerships by design to date.
In particular, on 30th October,MSC Türkiye, had its maiden call ceremony at Asyaport, Türkiye’s largest transit container port.
The date was thoughtfully chosen as it was the day following the Republic Day, which marked the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic.
As explained, the event in Tekirdağ, home to Asyaport, drew over 700 guests, including high-ranking government officials, customers, and members of the press.
MSC Türkiye will enable us to bring the world to the doors of our customers on the most fuel-efficient network.
…among the notable speakers was MSC Group President, Diego Aponte said.
The 400-meter-long vessel is part of the Celestino Maresca class, the world’s largest and most fuel-efficient container ships by design.
