According to the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), offshore oil and gas operators in the Gulf of Mexico are continuing normal operations after the Hurricane Michael.

In addition, all dynamically positioned rigs that moved off location because of the hurricane are back on location.
Approximately 7.7% of the current oil production in the Gulf of Mexico remains shut-in, while about 3.5%t of the natural gas production in the Gulf of Mexico also remains shut-in.
Since the hurricane has passed, operators are inspecting their facilities and once all standard checks have been completed, production from undamaged facilities will continue immediately.
As of now, a total of 3 platform damage reports have been submitted, citing missing grating.
In an earlier update, BSEE informed that 59 of the 687 manned platforms in the Gulf of Mexico had been evacuated, a percentage of 8.6.
