OceanPal agreed to become a strategic partner and invest in two newbuilding contracts for two 6,600 dwt methanol-ready, stainless steel chemical tankers.
ceanPal stated that RFSea Infrastructure II AS has secured two newbuilding contracts to construct vessels at Wuhu Shipyard in China. Two vessels are anticipated to arrive in the fourth quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026.
The completion of the transaction is contingent upon meeting the standard closing requirements. Alongside this significant alliance, OceanPal is also actively engaging with other partners and investors who share a common vision for the future of the maritime industry. These par Fearnley Securities AS has been appointed as the project arranger.
