Nordic Innovation and Nor-Shipping have collaborated to help facilitate a new funding instrument aimed at supporting innovation and collaboration between land-based and ocean industries. The initiative ‘Nordic Innovation Mobility Mission: Sea Meets Land funding instrument will be officially launched at Nor-Shipping 2019.
Nordic Innovation aims to promote sustainable growth, innovation and global competitiveness for the global businesses. It also aspires to forward ideas in order to facilitate the Nordic countries promote their businesses faster.

Many of the Nordic countries are leaders in harvesting the ocean, so the organization says that they need to use the know-how that they already have in order boost their sustainability.
As these countries are marine, they can create a lot of innovation and business potentials, in order to position themselves better in the global market.
The purpose of this collaboration is to promote Nordic frontrunners, so as to ensure better lives for the people living in these countries.
