NORDEN has completed the acquisition of Norlat Shipping, a Nordic dry bulk operator specializing in the transportation of forest products and bulk commodities.
As explained by NORDEN, Norlat Shipping’s offices in Norway and Stockholm, Sweden, will be integrated into NORDEN’s global network, aiming to enhance service coverage across key routes from Northern Europe to North Africa and North America.
NORDEN CEO Jan Rindbo expressed his satisfaction with the acquisition, noting, “We look forward to welcoming the Norlat Shipping team and customers.” He emphasized that Norlat’s expertise will enhance NORDEN’s projects and parcelling activities, providing customizable solutions for bulk and project cargo worldwide.
The financial details of the acquisition remain undisclosed, and NORDEN confirmed that its full-year 2024 guidance remains unaffected.
