After failing Port State Control
The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) announced today that nine foreign flagged ships were under detention in UK ports during February 2014 after failing Port State Control (PSC) inspection.
During February, there were four new detentions of foreign flagged vessels in UK ports. Five vessels remained under detention from previous months. Three vessels were released during February. A total of six vessels remain under detention at the end of February.
