To familiarize non-specialists with oil spill & chemical pollution issues
Transport Canada and the French Centre of Documentation, Research, and Experimentation on Accidental Water Pollution (CEDRE) have jointly established the web site Understanding Chemical Pollution at Sea. The site is intended to familiarize non-specialists with issues such as chemicals, shipping, sources of pollution, prevention & preparedness, spill response, and impact.
