The Seafarers International Research Centre and Cardiff University are conducting a study to support ports, employers, and governments in enhancing healthcare for seafarers employed in the cruise and cargo industries.
The study seeks to assess the health status of working seafarers and their healthcare accessibility while aboard. The research findings will result in recommendations relating to the provision of healthcare for seafarers working in the cruise and cargo sectors.
The online report will be accessible on the web pages of the Seafarers International Research Centre until the end of 2025. If you are regularly employed as a seafarer on cargo and/or cruise ships, your participation is valuable.
