Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO) has secured board approval for constructing an in-port bunker terminal at the Port of Duqm on the Sultanate’s Al Wusta coast. The permission regards 30,000 cubic metres of tankage capacity along with the necessary ancillary equipment and facilities.
According to the company, this terminal will provide marine fuels to ships in and around the port. For this reason, the bunker terminal aims to improve the portfolio of services available to attract ships to Duqm and also contribute to growing the port.
