Japan P&I Club issues navigation warning by MSA China
The Japan P&I Club provides information on recent navigation warnings of China Waters issued by MSA China.
Warnings:
1. Repairing operation of submarine pipeline of Dongfang 1-1 Gas Field by M/V Shen Qian Hao” from 10 October to 10 December 2015
2. Laying operation of optical fiber cable of the Expansion Project for connecting optical fiber cable (Nanmen – Luojing) at Chongming Submarine Cable Landing Station of Shanghai Section of Yangtze River from 16 October 2015 to 16 November 2015. Work site: water areas in No.3 Anchorage-prohibited Area in Shanghai Section of Yangtze River, bounded by the following points in order within a range of 100 meters from both sides:
Cautions: 1. Workboat should exhibit regulated operation signals in notable places and keep AIS normally open. 2. Workboat should strengthen duties and lookout, keep watch on VHF06, contact initiatively and enhance the dynamic notification. 3. Navigating vessels passing the water area from a safe distance from the workboat should sail cautiously. 4. The operation should be suspended when the force of wind is over the scale of 6 or the visibility is under 1000m. |
3.Survey on submarine pipeline of Phase I of Shanghai LNG Project in Hangzhou Bay fromOctober 2015 to 31 December 2015.Work site: water areas in east side of Donghai Bridge of Hangzhou Bay, bounded by the following four points within a range of 500 meters from both side.
Cautions: 1. Workboats should exhibit regulated operation signals in notable places and keep AIS normally open. 2. Workboats should strengthen duties and lookout, keep watch on VHF16, contact initiatively and enhance the dynamic notification. 3. Navigating vessels passing the water area from a safe distance from the workboats should sail cautiously. 4. The operation should be suspended when the force of wind is over the scale of 6 or the visibility is under 1nm. |
