Bulgarian shipping company Navibulgar has contracted six Bluetech 45 handymax bulk carriers from Chinese Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group, the ship designer Bluetech Finland informed.
As explained, the 45,000 DWT ships will have a length of 190 meters, maximum draught of 10.8 m, a large hold volume for its class and an ice class 1C.
The eco-friendly ships are expected to have the largest hold volume and deadweight and lowest fuel consumption in their class. The designs are marketed worldwide by Clarksons Platou Shipbroking.
