MPC Container Ships announced that it has reached an agreement for the acquisition of one 2,800 TEU vessel built in 2006 at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, South Korea, called ‘AS CLEMENTINA’.
MPC Container Ships bought the vessel for a total amount of USD $10.5m.
Physical takeover of the vessel is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2018, increasing the fleet of the company to 44 vessels.
Furthermore, MPC Container Ships acquired two 2,800 TEU vessels built in 2006 at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, South Korea for USD $21.8m. The ships are called ‘AS CAROLINA’ and ‘AS CAMELLIA’.
The physical takeover of these vessels is expected to take place in February 2018.
