The Master of the tanker Ark Progress was hospitalized after having breath difficulties and fever. The Master was later found positivie for COVID-19.
The tanker arrived at Dumai, Indonesia, on April 28, from New Mangalore, India. A few days later, the Master complained of having breath difficulties and fever, and was taken to hospital, where he tested positive for COVID-19.
All 23 Indian crew were tested, 4 of whom are now under self-quarantine, while the Master still remains at the hospital.
Other crew are healthy, while cargo operations continues with all the safety measures taken.
