MAN PrimeServ has entered into a cooperation agreement with Latsco Marine Management Inc. (LMM), for the exchange of data and insights related to engine operation, performance, and maintenance, aiming for improved reliability.
Set to last for 24 months, the partnership includes regular meetings and focuses on developing and testing new digital products, software, algorithms, and APIs. Key representatives from both companies signed the contract, highlighting their commitment to advancing maritime technology and operational efficiency.
Latsco’s COO, Antonios Georgantzis, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that it aligns with their strategy for improving fleet safety and reliability through data-driven solutions.
Meanwhile, Iasonas Zacharioudakis, Latsco’s Operational Technology & Energy Management Manager, highlighted the potential for enhanced operational optimization through the integration of MAN PrimeServ’s expertise.
MAN Energy Solutions’ representatives also acknowledged the benefits of gaining access to LMM’s operational feedback, which will aid in developing innovative tools for the broader maritime industry.
The contract was signed by Antonios Georgantzis on behalf of LMM, while Stig Holm, Head of Marine and Power Digital Denmark, and Michael Petersen, Senior Vice President and Head of PrimeServ Denmark, signed on behalf of MAN Energy Solutions.
