Singapore will grant funding for Singapore-based shipping companies to digitalize their operations, in efforts to support small and medium enterprises to update and innovate their processes.
Accordingly, Lloyd’s Register notes that eligible companies can secure grants of up to 80% of total project costs and Cloud Fleet Manager from Hanseaticsoft, part of the Lloyd’s Register Group, is among the solutions that has been endorsed by the Singapore Government.

Referring to a study published by Maritime Singapore, LR notes that digitalization must be on the agenda for shipping companies to ‘future-proof’ business. Companies that digitalise their processes, increase their performance, focus more deeply on innovation, and create more value.
