Longship Group announced that it has ordered a series of four state-of-the-art vessels, with an option for an additional four ships.
This newbuilding project will be a collaboration between GS Projects and Ship and Steelbuilding (SaS) at the Dutch shipyard in Waterhuizen and Groot Ship Design.
The PMAX ECO TRADER vessels are specifically designed to meet Longship’s requirements for custom shipping solutions.
The new PMAX ECO TRADER series is scheduled for delivery starting beginning 2026. These 6k tdw vessels are designed for highly efficient fuel consumption and advanced eco-friendly technologies. The initiative represents a significant step towards greener maritime operations, reflecting Longship Group’s commitment to environmental responsibility and innovation in the shipping industry.
