The 15 crewmembers who were kidnapped from the containership Mozart last weekend are good in their health, the vessel operator Boden Shipping informed.
More specifically, Boden Shipping communicated with the crew members of the container ship Mozart, which was hijacked off Sao Tome on January 23, 2021.
Boden Shipping and Boden Shipping’s partners in Borealis Shipping continue to make effort to ensure the release of their crew, ”who are their first and only priorities, and continue to be in constant communication with the families of the abducted sailors.”
As Dryad Global informs, the pirates breached the citadel, taking 15 crew, while one seafarer was killed. 3 crew members were left onboard the Mozart.
The pirates stayed about six hours on board the vessel, destroying bridge equipment before leaving.
