Global Maritime Forum recently announced Johannah Christensen as Chief Executive Officer, while expanded its executive management team, following a regular board meeting.
Namely, Managing Director, Head of Projects & Programmes, Johannah Christensen, was appointed Chief Executive Officer, while Head of Research, Kasper Søgaard, was appointed Managing Director, Head of Institutional Strategy and Development.

Speaking of women in maritime community, the UK Chamber of Shipping recently confirmed Sarah Treseder as its next Chief Executive, replacing Bob Sanguinetti. At the same time, world’s largest shipping association, BIMCO, elected Sabrina Chao of Wah Kwong Shipping Holdings Limited as President.
