Japan Marine United Co announced that employees working at its Ariake Office have tested positive for COVID-19.
On July 25, two employees were found to be infected, with the company disinfecting the workplace under the guidance of the public health center in charge, investigating concentrated contacts, while the employees were instructed to stay at home for two weeks.
Two days later, on July 27, 23 people were found to be infected. In addition, 96 contacts are being inspected in sequence.
The company said that it already implements prevention measures, such as washing hands, wearing masks, and working at staggered hours.
