On Sunday June 9, the Israeli Navy responded to a fire onboard a moored container ship at the port of Haifa. Namely, the Navy received information by a foreign cargo vessel that it had been set on fire by unknown people, local media reported.

According to Sputnik news agency, the unidentified people tried to take control of the ship, while the fire began during the argument. The incident is considered to be criminal, but no further details about the incident are public.
