International Convention for Safe Containers Revised recommendations
The following circulars have been issued by the International Maritime Organization in relation to the International Convention for Safe Containers, 1972, as amended (CSC):
- CSC/Circ.100 – Recommendations on harmonized interpretation and implementation of CSC.
- CSC/Circ.123 – Implementation of the requirements for material characteristics of the CSC Safety Plates
- CSC/Circ.124 – Amendments to the harmonized interpretation and implementation of CSC (CSC/Circ.100)
- CSC/Circ.134 – Guidance on serious structural deficiencies in containers
- CSC/Circ.137 – Amendments to the Guidance on serious structural deficiencies in containers (CSC/Circ.134)
A consolidated document superseding the above circulars has now been issued by the IMO. Members should now refer to CSC.1/Circ.138 available below, for the Revised Recommendations on harmonized interpretation and implementation of CSC.
