West P&I club recently released an infographic focusing on common conditions that affect the heart and circulatory system under the group of disorders for cardiovascular diseases (CVD).
Specifically, West launched a series of medical and first aid posters addressing the common health conditions operators and crew frequently experience onboard.
In the infographic below, West shed lights on what is a stroke, the signs and symptoms to look out for, quick steps to identify the onset of a stroke and the first aid to be given to the patient.
