Hapag-Lloyd recently announced its collaboration with the 2M Alliance members, Maersk and Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC). Specifically, companies signed a space charter agreement which will further allow Hapag-Lloyd’s entrance into selected services of 2M on the Asia-North Europe trade.
Through this cooperation, Hapag-Lloyd will give a boost to its products, offering on the Asia-North Europe trade, starting in March 2020.
The addition of these services will enable Hapag-Lloyd to offer an even higher frequency of weekly departures and more routing options as well as to directly serve additional ports with high schedule reliability.

As being member of THE Alliance, the company already offers a variety of services. However, this inked space charter agreement with Maersk and MSC, will expand them even further.
