There were no injuries or marine pollution
Greek flagged vessel M/V ‘Epanorthosis’, with 20 crew on board (7 Greeks and 13 internationals) collided with Panama flagged vessel M/V ‘Bodar’, on Monday morning hours, as it was sailing with a navigator on board in Yangtse river, China.
Managing company ‘Poseidon Shipping Co Ltd.’ informed the operations center of the Coast Guard.
Minor damages on M/V ‘Epanorthosis’ were reported and there were no injuries or marine pollution.
Vessel was carrying cereals and was heading to Taizhou port to unload. Following local authorities instructions, the vessel anchored safely in the river’s Wuosong mooring station, where it remains for inspection.
