Project to start in November of this year
Ghana will develop two ports, two container ships and 18 landing sites as part of the Eastern Corridor Multi-modal Transport project according to latest Ghana media reports.
The Government of Ghana signed a 314 million dollars contract with China Shipbuilding and Offshore Company International Chinese company to clear route for the undertaking of project to begin in November.
The Managing Director of the Volta Lake Transport Company, Eric Kweku Yarboi demonstrated to XYZ Business how the project will make two ports at Akosombo and Yapei or Buipe in the north while two container ships will be constructed.
The Transport Minister, Madam Dzifa Attivor said Ghana is committed to enlarging development to all aspects of the nation.
