Monjasa company has announced that bunker tanker ’Skaw Provider’ recently made the first fuel delivery for new oil terminal and storage facility in the Port of Skagen, Denmark.
The company stated that all system tests proceed according to plan and that they are now ready to offer clients convenient ex-pipe bunkering of all grades by November 2015.
Harsh weather conditions no longer represent a refuelling challenge. Taking bunkers in port in Skagen is a new and convenient opportunity for most vessel types as the terminal has 11m draft and 330m LOA and can accommodate vessels of up to 250kt dead weight.
The terminal and storage facility consists of eight tanks totalling 42,500cbm and high capacity pumping of 800cbm/hrs. Monjasa said that is able to offer customised quality blends and disposal of slops represent other key benefits.
