The Argentinian Navy was called in order to assist with a fire that erupted on a product tanker, in Argentina, on October 12.
Namelt, the fire took place in the engine room of the tanker Di Giunta E, while the ship was at Campana, Parana Delta, Argentina, on October 12.
After the fire, the Navy and firefighters rushed on the scene to help the vessel. The fire was finally extinguished by teams of fire protection service by foam.
With the fire out, the engine room was thoroughly checked for possible smoldering spots, and was cooled.
No injuries were reported.
