On Friday 13 of April, at 6.30 am (local time), a fire broke out in the sauna in the living quarters of the Goliat FPSO. The fire was quickly extinguished and no one was injured.
As Eni Norway said, all safety procedures worked appropriately, and the situation is now normalised.
When the fire alarm were triggered, production stopped and people onboard the platform entered the lifeboats. However, there was not a need of evacuating the platform.
