In the 2018 Business-IT Excellence Awards ceremony that took place on June 13, Propulsion Analytics and Euronav received the Gold Award in the category “Specialized solutions for companies in the Maritime Industry”.
The joint nomination except from the Gold Award, was also granted a top distinction as it was in the 3 highest scoring nominations among all contest categories.

550 delegates attended the awards, which highlighted the growing importance of new technologies across industries.

In this year’s awards, the category “digital transformation” was added, which had many participations. In addition, the review committee was more broad, including members of industries and academia.
As far as the award winners are concerned, Cosmote, Euronav along with Propulsion Analytics, and Interamerican received the Gold Award. As for the Grand Awards, the winners were Cosmote, Interamerican, Eurobank Ergasias, Piraeus Bank and the National Bank of Greece.
