DP World Australia resumed operations across Australia today, after a cyber-attack crippled its facilities, for three days.
In particular, operations at DP World Australia container terminals in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth experienced significant disruptions from Friday through Monday morning.
As informed, the firm in question currently holds control over an estimated 40% of the total volume of goods that enter and exit the country.
The company expects that approximately 5,000 containers will move out of the four Australian terminals today.

The resumption of port operations does not mean that this incident has concluded. DP World Australia’s investigation and ongoing remediation work are likely to continue for some time.
