A tragic occurrence happened on the morning of October 4th at Tanjung Pelepas Port, when a Bangladeshi dock worker fell off a ship, losing his life.
In a recent report by local news sources, it has been revealed that a 35-year-old Bangladeshi man experienced a distressing incident while working on a vessel that was docked at the port due to adverse weather conditions, characterised by strong winds and rough seas.
In a display of swift and coordinated action, a total of 24 personnel were promptly dispatched to the location in response to the distress call, despite the harsh conditions.
Alas, the man’s lifeless body was found at approximately 6:32 p.m., seven hours after he fell in the water. According to reports, the man plunged into the water from a staggering height of six metres.
