Basis for further branding and increased customer awareness
DNV’s sustainability assurance services were put to the test in global research carried out by the independent analyst firm Verdantix. The analysis found DNV to be one of the six providers that lead the global sustainability assurance market.
Alongside the big four accountancy firms and one certification body, DNV was rated as a global leader in the sustainability assurance market. The overall breadth and depth of DNV’s assurance services and proven expertise were considered to be among the highest in the sustainability assurance market.
“Being ranked as a leading international provider of sustainability assurance services is a strong recognition of the DNV focus on business development in this area for several years. Our proven capabilities in the sustainability assurance area will constitute the best basis for further branding and increased customer awareness in the market place,” says Thomas Vogth-Eriksen, CEO in DNV Business Assurance Group.
The survey is based on a detailed, fact-based comparison of the assurance services provided by 13 global suppliers. It involved interviews of an international customer panel composed of 15 decision-makers who have purchased sustainability assurance services. These buyers represent firms with combined revenues of $362 billion, headquartered in Australia, Canada, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, South Africa, the UK and the US. In addition, practice leaders from the assurance providers were interviewed and comprehensive data on 48 criteria was collected via a questionnaire.
The results are shown in the Verdantix Green Quadrant?, a methodology designed to provide an evidence-based, objective assessment of firms providing comparable products or services. The report, Green Quadrant Sustainability Assurance (Global), is available to download by Verdantix clients at www.verdantix.com.
