A crane toppled off a wharf in Auckland’s Seaview Wharf, on October 2, with the driver of the crane, being inside the crane. Luckily the driver was not injured, while local authorities have launched and investigation to determine the causes of the incident.
As sources report, the crane weighted 20 tons, and fell off the CentrePort Seaview Wharf about midday.
What is more, the driver of the crane did not get injured, while he did not go into the water.
What is more, initial information reports that the wharf was not damaged neither.
After the crane fell into the water, an operation was launched to salvage it.
In addition, an investigation has also been established to determine the root of the accident.
