According to International news, on 24th July, container ship ILHA DA MADEIRA contacted pier while berthing at Canical port, Madeira, on arrival from Leixoes.
As explained, the ship damaged and after the incident it remained at Canical.
The ship crashed with the stern to starboard on the pier.
Luckily, there were no injuries, only material damages.
As informed, the captain of the ship has made the respective Protest at Sea.
