Shanghai Huayi Holdings Group announced in a ceremony the construction of a green methanol facility in Shanghai.
According to the company statement, the 100,000-ton annual green methanol project has officially started. The project aims to represent a strong collaboration between state-owned assets and state-owned enterprises.
Furthermore, the project aims to make a step towards green development. The successful implementation of the project is of great significance to serving the national “dual carbon” strategy and promoting the upgrading of Shanghai’s international shipping center, the company states.
