The behemoth ship was delivered this and started operations in February 2018 on the French Asia Line 1, which is the longest sea route in the world, connecting Asia to Northern Europe.
The container ship is 400 meter long and 59 meter wide and has a new-generation engine that reduces fuel consumption for a 3% reduction of CO2 emissions.
‘CMA CGM Antoine de Saint Exupery’ is one of the three 20,600 TEU-containerships that CMA CGM ordered two years ago. Another vessel, ‘CMA CGM Louis Bleriot’, is expected to be delivered by the end of 2018.
