SAFETY4SEA is pleased to announce that Springfield Shipping Co. has received the 2019 SAFETY4SEA Tanker Operator Award at a prestigious award ceremony which successfully concluded on October the 1st at Yacht Club of Greece in Athens, the evening ahead of the SAFETY4SEA Conference.
Springfield Shipping Co. received the SAFETY4SEA Tanker Operator Award, sponsored by MacGregor, for setting as a core priority the continuous improvement of the services offered to their clients in the areas of crewing, safe and efficient vessels’ operations and environmental protection. Other short-listed nominees for this category were: Cosco Shipping Tankers (Shanghai), Fleet Management Limited, ITM Ltd and MINERVA MARINE Inc.
Presenting the award Mrs. Athena Kanellatou, Regional Director Mediterranean, Middle East & India, MacGregor said “Shipping excellence refers to practices driven by leadership, consistency of purpose, continuous improvement and public responsibility. It is our honour today to recognize Springfield Shipping as such a company. ”
