Crew of 25 evacuated
Bulk carrier Mirach ran on the rocks in Anjugraman area, southern tip of India, on April 1 2011. It is believed vessel struck rocks in severe weather in shallow waters close to coastline.
Vessel was holed and by now, April 6, bow part is in water up to Hold No 4. Crew 25 evacuated, manager of the vessel appointed rescue team. Pics from Turkish maritime newspaper Deniz Haber.
